There are going to be eyeroll-worthy moments in any political speech of that caliber. That said, I thought his eyeroll-worthy moments were few and far between.Courtneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18190243857455716864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4209129785647063879.post-3938482621793927752012-09-07T10:23:25.714-04:002012-09-07T10:23:25.714-04:00You cheated and read one of my links. No, I didn't watch Clinton's speech, but I read the follow up analysis which I prefer because phrases like "I want to nominate a man who's cool on the outside but who burns for America on the inside" just make me wish I were doing something else. That said, the man does fire people up.I do admire that.

Susan Bonifanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05889354888091500881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4209129785647063879.post-57289318236621319472012-09-07T08:47:41.831-04:002012-09-07T08:47:41.831-04:00You're right about welfare reform. States have...You're right about welfare reform. States have to present a credible plan that clearly explains how they're going to get people back to work (college, internships, etc.). They are granted this waiver upon receipt and approval of their jobs plan. THEN, the second, more important part of that, is that they have to show results and prove that their plan was effective. If it wasn't, then the waiver will be taken away.

I'm still gushing about it, so I'll ask you: did you watch Clinton's speech the other night at the DNC?

Also, Sam has until 10/9 to register to vote, and as a student in North Carolina, he can vote there.Courtneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18190243857455716864noreply@blogger.com
